Event Details

Most people hate networking events because...

  • ...walking in feels like returning to their "awkward teenage years".
  • ...small talk is only slightly preferable to a root canal.
  • ...they hate to sell themselves.
  • ...they hate to be sold at.
  • ...attending feels like a giant waste of time.

If any of this sounds like you, this might be the workshop for you.

In reality, performed well and using the proper tools and preparation, networking events can be both profitable and fun. Participants in this workshop will learn the tips, techniques, and tactics to make business and social gatherings pay off in the long run. Topics will include:

  • Proper preparation and the networking toolkit
  • The myth of business cards and the lie of the elevator pitch
  • The single biggest failure most people make with the event and how to avoid it.

In the end, this interactive workshop will provide you with new tools to turn your network into a powerful resource for success and significance. Come join us!
